The facial massage procedure may improve the condition and texture of the skin; the movements and pressure used during the massage, however, benefit the skin and the deeper tissues, muscles and vessels. Massage stimulates the blood flow and
circulation in the face, neck and shoulders. This change to the blood flow increases the supply of nutrients and oxygen to the skin which improves the colour of the skin, optimises the conditions for mitotic cell divisions in the epidermis, reduces the
appearance of fine lines and improves the texture of the skin. Improved circulation also stimulates the removal of waste products from body tissues and cells; this increase reduces the appearance of dark circles and puffiness around the eyes and the reduction of waste products prevents the muscles from feeling fatigued and tones the face.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

– viral infections (herpes simplex and warts)

– acne, eye infections. Contra-indications restricting the facial treatment:
– recent scar tissue
– eczema\/psoriasis
– hyper-keratosis
– skin allergies
