Electrostimulation - what is it?

Electrostimulation devices use alternating current to cause muscle contraction and relaxation. The sent impulses cause the muscles and nerves to receive an impulse that sets them in motion. To stimulate the muscle to work, a stimulus is delivered to the muscles through the motor nerves, and the nerve stimuli are based on electrical phenomena. Neuromuscular electrostimulation consists precisely in the creation of such stimuli affecting the muscles.

Electrostimulation is often called “effortless training”, “training for the lazy”.
All because during the procedure we cause muscle contractions similar to those that arise during classic physical activity. The advantage of electrostimulation is the increased intensity of exercise. During one workout, our muscles perform a work comparable to doing 1000 sit-ups.

The effects of electrostimulation are improving the appearance of the figure, breaking down cellulite and burning fat tissue, improving oxygenation of the skin, accelerating the production of collagen and elastin, as well as reducing pain and improving overall immunity.

Muscle electrostimulation - for health and a slim figure?

Electrostimulation is considered to be one of the most effective body shaping methods. It increases the efficiency of the muscles and reduces the body fat circumference. It can be used on all parts of the body, and the best results in reducing body fat are shown on the abdomen and thighs. Women often use this procedure to lift their buttocks.

Who is electrostimulation recommended for slimming?

Treatments using electrostimulation are recommended primarily to people who, for various reasons, have limited opportunities to perform traditional physical exercises. Therefore, this applies to obese people, after injuries, with joint problems or weakened by various diseases.

Electrostimulation - what does the procedure look like?

The treatment is carried on cosmetic bed. The electrode connection points on the body are disinfected and a special gel is applied to the electrodes themselves. The apparatus must be turned on, then the electrodes are placed on the patient's body and fastened with velcro, then the cables are connected to them, creating a closed circuit for the current. Each muscle is treated with a dose of regulated intensity. It starts small, gradually increasing its strength. After reaching the maximum, the dosage is gradually reduced to a minimum. Electrostimulation gives the best results in a series of treatments carried out every day or every two days. The effectiveness of the treatments depends on the number of visits, which should be a minimum of 10.

How to increase the effects of electrostimulation?

Therapy using current-emitting electrodes can support body contouring. As with other slimming treatments, however, it cannot replace a healthy lifestyle. Electrostimulation should be supplemented with a balanced diet, fluid supply, rest, adequate sleep and stress reduction.
