What is Dermapen?
Dermapen is a revolutionary micro-needling treatment, which aims to tighten, lift and rejuvenate the skin. What is the skin’s appearance after the treatment?

How quickly are results visible?

Are there any side effects?
Side effects experienced with the DermaPen will usually subside within 24-48 hours. They include redness, stinging, itching, and tightness of the skin.
Dermapen Aftercare Instructions
Immediately after your medical needling therapy you will look as though you have moderate sunburn and your skin may feel warm and tighter than usual. This will start to subside after 2 to 3 hours and will normally recover within 24 hours, with only slight redness the following day. Occasionally this redness can persist for 3 – 4 days.
To assist your skin in its recovery please follow the recommendations below:
- Use tepid water to cleanse the face for the following 48 hours and dry gently. Always make sure your hands are clean when touching the treated area.
- It is recommended that make is not applied for 2 days after the therapy and to avoid other aggressive skin products until the redness has subsided.
- Avoid saunas, steam rooms, excessive exercise, hot baths or showers until the redness has done.
- Avoid intensive sun light exposure and artificial UV exposure for a period of at least 2 weeks after your therapy. Use a broad spectrum UBA/UVB sun protectant with an SPF50 on a daily basis during this period.
Remember that a course of 3 or more medical needling treatments is normally recommended for optimum improvement.
